Rainy Day Sunday....

What storms we've had!
Almost ready to build an ark--and more rain this week!
UGH!

Ok.
Enough of that.
For Sara--my blog friend across the pond...
to answer your question---
we have SIX CATS now!
All have been rescues I am proud to say...

First up--the Senior Citizen of the bunch--Bad Cat
He's had a lot of health issues this year
and we are savoring every single day we have with him...
Bad Cat got his name from my husband
(he had him before we met)
as he used to knock the books off the kitchen cabinets
when he was a kitten....
he really is a good cat!

Then there's Inkadinkadoo---aka Inky---
and he was the baby of the bunch (even though he's 8!)
I got him free at a scrapbooking class...

Next came Poppa Cat
he was a feral cat who came inside one day and
just wouldn't leave!
My husband named him Poppa Cat
as we wonder if he fathered some of the other feral cats we had
(we did catch and neuter everyone-eventually!)

This is Ms. Dolly---who we lost this year...
I miss my girl....she was a real sweetheart....

These are the two babies of the bunch---
(Sir) Sebastian and (Sir) Stirling...

and last but not least---our outdoor resident (feral)
Moe
He's gotten to the point where I can pet and handle him a little
but he won't come in the house to stay....

So that is the Russell Cat Clan!
Yes, I am a crazy cat lady!
I can say that.

And, having said that-
this is my latest craft project...

Key fobs....

I love love love making them!
As you can see...! Lol!
These will be a new craft show item
and/or thinking Christmas gifts for our vet and staff---
we frequent them a lot as you can imagine
and are most appreciative of them.

I have more ribbon and findings on order.

Speaking of being appreciative...
if the kittens don't leave me a "gift" on their mat
before breakfast....I will surely find one at lunch!
Since they are inside...the "gift" consists of their toys!!!

Note the "whittle mouse in the food bowl...and the doll's hat...

another morning---two ping pong balls
(note: if you bounce a ping pong ball for a kitten
they will bounce on all fours after it!!!)

This was probably the BIGGEST gift...
two balls AND their little nylon cube house!

The doll hat seems to be a favorite---
and the mouse has shown up more than once, too!

Here's Sebastian with the poor hatless doll...
that rocker was mine as a child---still need to fix the back cushion...

They get a little confused at the food buffet....

but they soon sort it all out...

And speaking of sorting it all out...
I had no more and cleaned up all their toys, put them in a nice little basket...
and THIS happened....typical men (we clean it, they mess it up!)

How can you be mad at that cutie?

That's it for now.
Probably bored you to death with crazy cat pictures.
Lots going on---and they keep me smiling!

Until next time,
happy stamping and scrapping!
Blessings,
